The Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2007

Notice is hereby given that the Lord Chancellor in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 148 of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 has made the following Order:

The Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2007 [S.I. 2007/ 1252(C.54)]

The following provisions of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 shall come into force on 8th May 2007—

(a)	section 5(3) and 5(4) (representations to Parliament);
(b)	section 6 (representations to the Northern Ireland Assembly); and
(c)	section 11 (Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland), in so far as it inserts subsection (1B)(b) into section 12 of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002( 1 ).
