Prohibition of Traffic (Beechmount, Belfast) (Alleygating)
Notice is given that the Department for Regional Development made on 28th March 2007 an Order entitled The Prohibition of Traffic (Beechmount, Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007 (S.R. 2007 No. 216 ) which will come into operation on 23rd April 2007.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit the use by vehicles and pedestrians of the following back streets:
The back street to the rear of Nos. 1-39 Crocus Street, Nos. 42-86 Springfield Road and Nos. 3-85 Hawthorn Street and to the side of No. 2 Iris Street, Belfast.
The back street to the rear of Nos. 23–33 Cavendish Street and to the side of No.1 Hawthorn Street, Belfast.
The back street to the side of Nos. 85 and 87 Hawthorn Street and to the rear of Nos. 2 and 4 Iris Street, Belfast.
The back street to the rear of Nos. 1 – 61 Iris Street, Belfast.
The back street to the rear of Nos. 107 – 167 Cavendish Street and to the side of No. 61 Iris Street, Belfast.
The back street to the side of No. 1 Iris Street and to the rear of No. 88 Springfield Road, Belfast.
The back street to the rear of Nos. 6 – 56 Fort Street, Belfast.
The back street to the side of Nos. 4 and 6 Fort Street, Belfast.
The back street to the side of No. 56 Fort Street, Belfast.
The back street to the rear of Nos. 1–49 Fort Street and Nos. 2–50 Forest Street, Belfast.
The back street to the side of No. 1 Fort Street and to the rear of Nos. 49–55 Springfield Avenue, Belfast.
The back street to the side of No. 50 Forest Street, Belfast and to the rear of 53–63 Fort Street, Belfast.
It will give affect to this by erecting gates at the entrances to the back streets specified above. Vehicles requiring access in specified circumstances are exempted from the provisions of this Order.
