PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (NORTHERN IRELAND) REGULATIONS 2003

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Quinn Concrete has applied to the Chief Inspector for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the disposal of waste by landfill. The installation is located at Lisbane Landfill Site, Aughlish Road, Tandragee in the District of Armagh City & District Council in the County of Armagh.

The application contains a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

Information relating to the IPPC application for a permit to operate Lisbane Landfill Site is held in registers at the following locations.

The Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, Calvert House, 23 Castle Street, Belfast BT1 1FY or

Waste & Contaminated Land Unit, Commonwealth House, 35 Castle Street, Belfast BT1 1GU

Armagh & City District Council, Council Offices, The Palace Demesne, Armagh, Co Armagh BT60 4EL.

Members of the public can inspect these registers free of charge at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the register can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of photocopying.

Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector at the address below within 42 days of the date of this public notice.

Any such objections or representations will be entered unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request.
