Roads (NI) Order
The Roads (Speed Limit) Order (NI) 2006
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Regional Development made on 21st March 2006 an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 (S.R. 2006 No. 147) which will come into operation on 12th April 2006.
The effect of the Order is to-
apply a 20 miles per hour speed limit to Espey Park, Dungannon and Windmill Heights, Enniskillen .
apply a 30 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of the following roads-
Tullyavy Road, Ballycassidy, Enniskillen; and Waterview Lane, Tonylomon Road and Killywillen Road, Bellanaleck .
apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of the following roads-
Glenshane Road, Claudy ; Moneymore Road, Cookstown ; Dunnamore Road and Mill Road, Dunnamore, Cookstown; and Barnhill Road, Strabane .
apply a 50 miles per hour speed limit to a length of Barnhill Road, Strabane .
By virtue of Articles 36(1) and 37(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 a 30 miles per hour speed limit will apply to the following roads and lengths road-
Laragh Road and Monella Road, Ballycassidy, Enniskillen; Moneymore Road, Cookstown ; Brookfield and Dunnalong Road, Magheramason, Strabane; and Barnhill Road and Derry Road, Strabane .
