Application for a Generating Licence under Article 10(1)(a) of the Electricity (NI) Order 1992

Wolf Bog Wind Farm Ltd (Company Registration No. NI 53475) whose registered principal office is at Willowbank Road Millbrook Industrial Estate, Larne, Co. Antrim BT40 2SF hereby gives notice that it is applying to the Office for the Regulation of Electricity and Gas Northern Ireland for a Generating Licence under Article 10(1)(a) of the Electricity (NI) Order 1992 to take effect from 1st August 2006. The current Directors of the applicant are as follows: a) Robert Ian Harvey, b) William Benjamin Hopkins, c) Michael Robert O’Neill, and d) Alan Harris.

Wolf Bog Wind Farm Ltd is wholly owned by Wind Farm Developments Ltd (Registered in Northern Ireland: No 36725) whose registered office address is Willowbank Road, Millbrook Industrial Estate, Lame BT40 2SF. Wind Farm Developments Ltd is owned jointly by

1)	B9 Energy Services Ltd (Company No. NI 26799), of Willowbank Road, Millbrook Industrial Estate, Lame, Co. Antrim BT4O 2SF; and,
2)	Renewable Energy Systems Europe Ltd (Company No. 04915239), of Beaufort Court, Egg farm Lane, Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, WD4 8LR.

One generating station of 11.5 MW is to be operated under the licence (if granted) comprising 5 individual 2.3 MW wind turbines (each to be driven by wind energy) located at Wolf Bog Wind Farm, Collin Road, Tildarg, Ballyclare, Co. Antrim. Grid Reference (site entrance): Easting 324000, Northing 397100. It is expected to be fully commissioned by 1st October 2007.

No powers under Schedule 3 (compulsory acquisition of land etc.) and under Schedule 4 (other powers etc) to the Order are considered necessary to be given through the licence.

The applicant is also applying for Consent from the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment under Article 39 of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 in relation to the project.

Copies of the maps relevant to this application have been lodged in accordance with Schedule 2 of Part II of the Electricity (Applications for Licences and Extensions of Licences) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992 at the Office for the Regulation of Electricity and Gas Northern Ireland, Queens House, 14 Queens Street, BELFAST, BT1 6ER.. Copies are available for inspection by the public between 10 a.m. and 4p.m. on any working day.
