Dublin Road, Banbridge: Abandonment

The Department for Regional Development being of the opinion that the road is not necessary for road traffic proposes to make an order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 the effect of which would be to abandon 1450 square metres of superseded Dublin Road, Banbridge, from a point 87 metres south of its junction with Greenan Road to a point 182 metres south-east of that junction.

The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map, which together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 17 February 2006 to 7 April 2006 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Headquarters, Room 201, Clarence Court, 10–18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB; and Banbridge Section Office, 45 Newry Street, Banbridge, BT32 3EA.

Any person may within the said period object to the proposal by written notice to Roads Service Headquarters at the address above stating the grounds of objection.
