The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (NI) 2005

Notice is given that the Department for Regional Development made on 20th December 2005 an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005 (S.R. 2005 No. 577) which will come into operation on 12th January 2006.

The effect of the Order is to-

•	apply a 20 miles per hour speed limit to the following roads-
Keeragh, Parkview, Parkview Drive and Shanroy Park, Pomeroy .
•	apply a 30 miles per hour speed limit to Keady Glebe Road and Madden Row, Keady and to lengths of the following roads-
Monaghan Road, Aughnacloy ; Blackskull Road, Donaghcloney Road and Killysorrell Road, Blackskull, Banbridge; Barronstown Road and Milebush Road, Dromore, Co. Down; Crossmore Road, Darkley Road, Upper Darkley Road and Victoria Street, Keady ; Coast Road, Larne and Drumnascamph Road, Laurencetown, Banbridge.
•	apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of the following roads-
Coast Road, Ballygalley ; Ballyhafry Road and Hilltown Road, Bryansford ; Bay Road, Carnlough ; Ballynacor Lane and Ballynery North Road, Derrymacash, Lurgan; Omagh Road, Drumquin ; Annvale Road and Tassagh Road, Keady ; Coast Road, Larne ; Dundrum Road, Newcastle ; Forkhill Road, Newry ; Killyclogher Road, Omagh and Portadown Road, Tandragee .
•	apply a 50 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of Hillhead Road, Castledawson and Killyclogher Road, Omagh .
•	de-restrict lengths of Castor Bay Road, Lurgan and Bay Road, Carnlough .

By virtue of Articles 36(1) and 37(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 a 30 miles per hour speed limit will apply to lengths of the following roads-

•	Upper Malone Road, Belfast ; Bay Road, Carnlough ; Omagh Road, Drumquin ; Annvale Road, Granemore Road and Tassagh Road, Keady ; Castor Bay Road, Lurgan ; Dundrum Road, Newcastle ; Killyclogher Road, Omagh ; Gilford Road, Scarva ; and Portadown Road, Tandragee .
