A4/A5 Road Improvements Trunk Road T6 (A5) (Tullyvar Realignment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

The Department for Regional Development hereby gives notice in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 8 to the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 that it proposes to make an order under Articles 14(1) and 68(1), (3) and (5) of that Order.

The proposed Order will provide-

1. (a) that 1.8 kilometres of new road in the townlands of Lisbeg, Tullyvar and Cavankilgreen in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone, from a point 75 metres north of the junction of the existing A5 Tullyvar Road and Depot Road to the junction of the existing A5 Tullyvar Road and Lisginny Road;
and
(b) 805 metres of existing A5 Tullyvar Road–
(a) 580 metres in the townlands of Tullyvar and Cavankilgreen, from a point 655 metres south-west of its junction with Route A5 Annaghilla Road, to a point 1235 metres south-west of that junction and
(b) 225 metres in the townland of Cavankilgreen, from its junction with U333 Depot Road, to a point 225 metres south-west of that junction. should be designated as trunk road;

2. for the abandonment of parts of the existing A5 Tullyvar Road and Tullywinny Road;

3. for the stopping-up of parts of the existing A5 Tullyvar Road, Tullywinny Road and Lisginny Road.

The proposals are delineated on a map which, together with a copy of the draft order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 7 December 2005 to 19 January 2006 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Western Division, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh; Moygashel Depot, Main Road, Moygashel, Dungannon and 32 Deverney Road, Arvalee, Omagh; and Headquarters, Room 201 Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast; and at the offices of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, Circular Road, Dungannon.

Any person may within the said period, object to the making of the order by written notice to the Divisional Roads Manager, Department for Regional Development, Roads Service- Western Division, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh BT79 7AF, stating the grounds of objection.

The Dungannon to Ballygawley Trunk Road Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

The Department for Regional Development hereby gives notice in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 8 to the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 that it proposes to make an order under Articles 14(1) and 68(1), (3) and (5) of that Order.

The proposed Order will provide—

1. that 20.6 kilometres of new road, including a new roundabout, in the townlands of Grange, Lisbeg, Armalughey, Cravenny Scotch, Golan, Mullaghbane (Ballygawley), Inishmagh, Lurgacullion, Aghnahoe, Tullyvannon, Killeeshil, Farriter, Cabragh, Mulnahunch, Gorey, Killymaddy, Tullyallen, Killymoyle, Mullaghbane (Castlecaulfield), Cullenfad, Ballyward, Drumnafern, Killyliss, Cormullagh, Killybracken, Mulboy, Drumgormal, Killyquinn, Lissan, Mullybrannon, and Moygashel in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone, consisting of:

(a) 15.2 kilometres of new road from a point 264 metres south of the junction of the existing Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road and existing Route A5 Tullyvar Road, to a point on the existing Route T3 (A4) Woodlough Road 41 metres east of its junction with Route C646 Killyliss Road;
(b) 0.4 kilometres of new road extending in a southerly direction to join the new roundabout, from a point 10 metres west of the junction of the existing Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road and Ballygawley Roundabout;
(c) 5.0 kilometres of existing T3 (A4) Woodlough Road to be upgraded to dual carriageway, from a point 41 metres east of its junction with Killyliss Road to a point 447 metres east of its junction with Mullybrannon Road; should be designated as trunk road and form part of the T3.

2. that 1.0 kilometres of new road in the townlands of Grange and Lisbeg in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone, consisting of:

(a) 0.5 kilometres of new road extending in an easterly direction to join the new roundabout, from a point 185 metres west of the junction of Tullywinny Road and the existing Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road; and
(b) 0.5 kilometres of new road extending in a north-westerly direction to join the new roundabout, from a point 672 metres south-east of the junction of the existing Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road and Route A5 Tullyvar Road; should be designated as trunk road and form part of the T6.

3. that 14.9 kilometres of existing carriageway in the townlands of Ballygawley, Grange, Martray, Inishmagh, Lurgacullion, Tullyvannon, Killeeshil, Fasglashagh, Cabragh, Mulnahunch, Tullyallen, Killymaddy, Killymoyle, Edenacrannon, Cullenfad Drumnafern, Killyliss, and Cormullagh in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone, comprising:

(a) 14.4 kilometres of Route T3 (A4)—
(i) Dungannon Road, from a point 10 metres east of its junction with Ballygawley Roundabout to its junction with Ballygawley Road;
(ii) Ballygawley Road; and
(iii) Woodlough Road from its junction with Ballygawley Road to a point 521 metres west of its junction with Killyliss Road.
(b) 0.5 kilometres of Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road, from a point 146 metres south-west of its junction with Tullywinny Road to a point 26 metres north-east of its junction with Route A5 Tullyvar Road. shall cease to be trunk road.

3. for the abandonment of parts of Dergenagh Road, Ballygawley Road Spur, Gorey Road, Tullyallen Road and Mullaghbane Road.

4. for the stopping-up of parts of the existing T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road, A5 Tullyvar Road, T3 (A4) Ballygawley Road, T3 (A4) Woodlough Road, Lisbeg Road, Cravenny Road, Dergenagh Road, Tullyallen Road, Mullaghbane Road, Reaskmore Road, Killyliss Road, Eskragh Road, Killybracken Road, Eglish Road, Old Eglish Road and Jakies Road.

The proposals are delineated on maps which, together with a copy of the draft order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 7 December 2005 to 19 January 2006 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Western Division, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh; Moygashel Depot, Main Road, Moygashel, Dungannon and 32 Deverney Road, Arvalee, Omagh; and Headquarters, Room 201 Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast; and at the offices of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, Circular Road, Dungannon.

Trunk Road T6 (A4) (Annaghilla Realignment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

The Department for Regional Development hereby gives notice in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 8 to the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 that it proposes to make an order under Articles 14(1) and 68(1) and (5) of that Order.

The proposed Order will provide -

1. that 2.9 kilometres of proposed new road in the townlands of Mullaghmore, Ballygreenan, Roughan, Ballylagan, Annaghilla, Drumcullion and Crossboy in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone from a point 600 metres west of the junction of the existing T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road and Annaloughan Road to the junction of the existing T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road and Route C651 Ballynanny Road should be designated as trunk road;

2. that 2.4 kilometres of Route T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road in the townlands of Roughan, Keady, Annaghilla, Sess and Crossboy in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council Area and County of Tyrone from its existing junction with Sess Road to a point 141 metres west of its existing junction with Route C651 Ballynanny Road shall cease to be trunk road; and

3. for the abandonment of parts of Annaloughan Road and the existing T6 (A4) Annaghilla Road.

The Department also proposes to construct a new bridge (along Route C651 Halftown Road) over the new route.

The proposals are delineated on a map which, together with a copy of the draft order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 7 December 2005 to 19 January 2006 at the Department’s Roads Service offices, Western Division, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh; Moygashel Depot, Main Road, Moygashel, Dungannon and 32 Deverney Road, Arvalee, Omagh; and Headquarters, Room 201 Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast; and at the offices of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, Circular Road, Dungannon.
