THE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITY (EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS) (ALTERATION OF LEASEHOLD PREMISES) REGUALTIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2005

Notice is hereby given that the Department for Employment and Learning, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 32 (3) and (5) of paragraphs 4 and 5 of Schedule 3 to the Special Educational Needs and Disability (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (S.I. 1117/05 (N.I. 6)) made a Statutory Rule entitled

The Special Educational Needs and Disability (Educational Institutions) (Alteration to Leasehold Premises) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 .

The Regulations contain provisions in respect of consent required under the terms of leases and sub-leases occupied by educational institutions whose governing bodies are subject to the duty of reasonable adjustment set out in Article 30 of that Order.

The Order will outlaw discrimination on the grounds of disability by Further and Higher Education providers in Northern Ireland.
