The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, section 56(1), (2) and (5) of the Finance Act 1973, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Plant Health (Import Inspection Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005.

The Regulations were made on 8th August 2005 and will come into operation on 1st September 2005. Copies of the Statutory Rule, S.R. 2005 No. 373/05 are available from the Stationery Office Bookshop, 16 Arthur Street, Belfast BT1 4GD.
