Notice is hereby given that The Lord Chancellor in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 148(1) of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 has made the following Order:

The Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (Commencement No.1) Order 2005

This Order, which is the first Commencement Order to be made under the Constitutional Reform Act 2005, brings into force on 15th June 2005 section 123 (except to the extent that it inserts a new subsection 5A(6) into the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002) and section 132 of the Act.

This order shall come into operation on 15th June 2005.
