The Craigavon Town Centre Boundaries and Retail Designations Plan 2010 (the Plan) is a development plan being prepared under the provisions of Part III of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 by the Planning Service, an Agency within the Department of the Environment. The Plan relates to the Craigavon, Lurgan and Portadown town centres and will be additional to the Craigavon Area Plan 2010, adopted in August 2004.
The Plan will be prepared within the context of the Regional Development Strategy and will inform the general public, statutory authorities, developers and other interested bodies of the boundaries and other designations that will be used to guide retail and other commercial development within the town centres up to the year 2010.
