WEIGHTS AND MEASURES (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1981

The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment has made a Statutory Rule entitled the Weights and Measures (Standards Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 (S.R. 2005 No. 26).

These Regulations, which come into operation on 1st March 2005, are made under Article 13(1) of the Weights and Measures (Northern Ireland) Order 1981. They amend references in weights and measures Regulations to the standard EN 45001 which is replaced by a new standard, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000.
