PLANNING (USE CLASSES) ORDER (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2004 NO.458
Notice is hereby given that the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 11 (2) (e) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, made on 2 November 2004, a Statutory Rule entitled the Planning (Use Classes) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 (the “2004 Order”)”No.458 which comes into operation on 29 November 2004.
This Rule replaces and revokes the Planning (Use Classes) Order (Northern Ireland) 1989 (the “1989 Order”) as amended. The Regulations employ some new and revised definitions compared with the 1989 Order. They also extend the number of uses that do not fall within any of the classes in the Schedule to the Order and restructure the way in which the separate use classes are organised in the Schedule to the Order.
