NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 10(4) OF THE ELECTRICITY (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1992

The Director General of Electricity Supply for Northern Ireland (hereafter referred to as “the Director”) pursuant to Article 10(4) of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 hereby gives notice as follows:

(1) The Director proposes to grant a generation licence to Coolkeeragh ESB Limited.

(2) The Director considers that Coolkeeragh ESB Limited is a credible generator; and that the grant of the licence would promote competition in the generation and supply of electricity;

(3) Representations or objections with respect to the proposed licence may be made on or before 5th August 2002 to the Director at the Office for the Regulation of Electricity and Gas, Brookmount Buildings, 42 Fountain Street, Belfast BT1 5EE.
