The Secretary of State hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of an irregular shaped southern part width of Griffin Avenue at Moreton, in the Metropolitan Borough of the Wirral.

If the order is made, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable development as permitted by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, under reference APP/W4325/W/21/3287093.

Copies of the draft order and relevant plan will be available for inspection during normal opening hours at Wirral Council Highways, Wallasey Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey, CH44 8ED in the 28 days commencing on 15 April 2026, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State (quoting SUO2631661) at the address stated below.

Any person may object to the making of the proposed order by stating their reasons in writing to the Secretary of State at nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk or National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ, quoting the above reference.
