1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 30th of January 2026 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the orders will be to introduce Electric Vehicle Charging bay bays in the following locations;

| Anton Street | 5.7m away North East direction from the edge of house line 10 & 11 of Anton Street. Install a new 5.0m electric vehicle charging bay in the North East direction replacing a permit bay. |
| Arcola Street | On the South side, from a point of 17.1m of the Eastern kerbline of Dunn Street. Eastwards for a distance of 6.5m, install a new Electric Vehicle Charging Bay replacing a cashless shared use bay. |
| Ardleigh Road | 5.9m away North direction from edge of building line of house number 8 & 10 Ardleigh Road. Install a new 5.0m electric vehicle charging bay in the North direction replacing a resident permit bay. |

| Provost Street | 9.7m away South direction of the existing building line of Graphite Apartments. Install a new 5.6m electric vehicle charging bay, on the opposite side in the South direction replacing a permit bay. |
| Southwold Road | 7.4m away West direction from kerbline of Radley Square. Install new 5.5m electric vehicle charging bay in West direction replacing a permit bay. |

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 9th of February 2026, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
