THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.***) ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to make changes in the following locations:
a) Andre Street - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside No. 90 Downs Park Road in Andre Street with a personalised permit bay - 00373;
b) Blurton Road - Replace 6.6 metres of residents permit bay outside of Nos. 58 to 60 with a personalised permit bay - 00395;
c) Holcroft Road - Replace the disabled bay outside of Nos. 2 to 4 with a personalised permit bay - 00382;
d) Kingsmead Way - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside Edwy house, Nos. 1 to 83 Kingsmead Way with a personalised permit bay - 00376;
e) Leweston Place - Replace the disabled bay outside No. 29 Leweston Place with a permit bay;
f) Marcon Place - Replace 6.6 metres of shared use bay outside Nos. 35 to 37 Marcon Place with a personalised permit bay - 00371;
g) Mountgrove Road - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside No. 24 Mountgrove Road with a personalised permit bay - 00380;
h) Northwold Road - Replace the disabled bay outside Nos. 42 and 44 Northwold Road with a permit bay;
i) Pitfield Estate - Replace 5.4 metres of permit bay opposite Nos. 73 to 108 Royal Oak Court, Pitfield Estate with a personalised permit bay - 00377;
j) Rossington Street - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay with a personalised permit bay - 00373 at the rear of Nos. 2 to 15 Cypress Close in Rossington Street; and
k) Thistlewaite Road, replace 2.5 metres of permit bay outside Nos. 55 and 57 Thistlewaite Road with a cycle hangar.
3. Plans of the proposed locations can be viewed here - https://hackney.traffweb.app/traffweb/2/PublicConsultation Documents giving more detailed particulars are also available for inspection by email request to consultation.parking@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively, such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.
4. Any objections or other representations about either of the Orders should be sent in writing to Streetscene – Networks Team at the address specified in paragraph 3 above or emailed to consultation.parking@hackney.gov.uk within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
