NOTICE OF STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (HAFOD Y BRYN, 37 CAE MAIR, BEAUMARIS, ISLE OF ANGLESEY LL58 8YN) ORDER 2026

The Welsh Ministers have made an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the 1990 Act”) to authorise the stopping up of the length of highway described in Schedule 1 to this Notice and to improve the length of highway described in Schedule 2 to this Notice. The Welsh Ministers are satisfied that the stopping up is necessary, and it will be authorised only in order to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part 3 of the 1990 Act by Isle of Anglesey County Council on 2 April 2025 with reference FPL/2024/264 described in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

The Stopping Up of Highways (Hafod Y Bryn, 37 Cae Mair, Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey LL58 8YN) Order 2026 (“the Order”) ceases to have effect if planning permission in respect of the development expires or is revoked.

The Order makes provision for the preservation of rights of statutory undertakers for any apparatus under, in, on, over, along or across the highway.

Copies of the Order and the deposited plan may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at Beaumaris Library, David Hughes Community Centre, Beaumaris, Anglesey LL58 8AL, or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference qA2326075.

If a person is aggrieved by the Order, on the grounds that:

a. it is not within the powers of the 1990 Act; or

b. a procedural requirement of the 1990 Act has not been complied with;

that person may, within 6 weeks of 28 January 2026 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
