NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
BRITISH BOARD OF AGRÉMENT PENSION AND LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME
The British Board of Agrément Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (the Scheme) will shortly be winding up. The Trustees intend to distribute the Scheme's assets in accordance with the Scheme's governing documentation and secure members' benefits by the purchase of annuities with Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited or transfer payments to other registered pension schemes.
Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, any persons having a claim or an interest in the Scheme established under trust are required to send particulars thereof in writing to Broadstone, the administrators of the Scheme, within two (2) months of the date of publication. After that date, the assets of the Scheme will be distributed having regard only to claims and interests of which the Trustees had notice.
The Trustees shall not be liable to any person of whose claim or interest they have not received in respect of the assets of the Scheme or any part of it so distributed.
The following individuals are requested to write to the Trustees of the British Board of Agrément Pension and Life Assurance Scheme c/o Broadstone, 23-25 St George's Road, Bristol, BS1 5UU.
• any employee or former employee of British Board of Agrément Holdings Limited or the British Board of Agrément who believes they were a Scheme member and who is not already receiving a pension in respect of their Scheme membership or has not received any correspondence from the Trustees in the last 6 months;
• any person who believes themselves to be a Scheme beneficiary as the widow, widower, civil partner or dependant of a deceased member; and
• any other person who believes they have a claim against, or an interest, in the Scheme.
You should include details of your full name, date of birth, address and any benefits to which you think you are entitled.
If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received a letter from the Trustees regarding the Scheme or any correspondence from the Trustees within the last 6 months, you do not need to write to the Scheme administrators.
