Notices under the Trustee Act 1925
THOMSON AIRWAYS PENSION SCHEME (“TAPS”)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Thomson Airways Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) is to be wound up.
The Trustees of the Scheme wish to trace employees and former employees of:
Thomson Airways
Unijet Group PLC
Leisure International Airways Ltd
First Choice, Unijet & Air 2000 Ltd
First Choice Airways Ltd
First Choice Holidays Ltd
And their dependants, including widows/widowers, children and other dependants of such former employees, who are, or who think they might be, entitled to benefits under the Thomson Airways Pension Scheme.
Any person who believes they are entitled to benefits under the Scheme should write to: Trustees of the Thomson Airways Pension Scheme, c/o Aon, 1 Redcliff Street, Bristol, BS1 6NP.
Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number, details of the period of employment to which their claim relates and any benefits they think they are entitled to. Claims should be made within two months of the date of this notice. After this date, the Trustees will distribute the assets of the Scheme, having regard only to claims, entitlements and interests notified to them.
Notification is not required from anyone who, following the Scheme’s merger with the TUI GROUP UK Pension Trust, is currently in correspondence with, or in receipt of a pension from, the TUI GROUP UK Pension Trust.
