That on the 4th of September 2025, a quantity of cash, namely £2,400 cash was seized from the Respondent Li HAN (03/10/1987). I, accredited Financial Investigator DS 4923 Paul Baker give notice that I intend to apply for an order under Section 298 (2) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) for the forfeiture of the £2,400 together with any interest accrues thereon pursuant to Section 296 (1) of the Act, on the grounds that this said cash is:

a) Recoverable property; or

b) Is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct

As per Section 297A (2) POCA.

The hearing will be held at Birmingham Magistrates Court at 14:00 pm on 8th January 2026 in court 10.

Should any person(s) or other interested third parties wish to contest the forfeiture application, then they should inform Birmingham Magistrates Court, Victoria Law Courts, 1 Newton St, Birmingham, B4 7NA, telephone number +44 (0) 121 212 6600 before 6th January 2026

. If no objection is received prior to the hearing, then an application for forfeiture of the £2,400 will be made in his/their absence.
