THE REDBRIDGE (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which would be to: -
(1) Introduce westbound one way working on Little Heath:
(a) option 1, between the south-western kerb-line of Chadwell Heath Lane and the eastern kerb-line of Strouds Close; or,
(b) option 2, between the south-western kerb-line of Chadwell Heath Lane and the eastern kerb-line of Barley Lane.
(2) Introduce a banned right turn:
(a) from the access of Atam Academy onto Little Heath.
(b) from Strouds Close onto Little Heath.
(3) Introduce a prohibition of entry for vehicular traffic on Little Heath:
(a) at a point 14 metres south of the south-western kerb-line of Chadwell Heath Lane; and,
(b) either option 1, at a point 2 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Strouds Close; or
(c) option 2, at the eastern kerb-line of Barley Lane.
(4) Reduce double yellow lines and extend the existing bus stand on Little Heath outside New City College eastward to create a 36m bus stand.
2. A copy of the Order, and other documents giving detailed particulars including map-based plans may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
3. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made by writing to Bus Priority Team, 2nd Floor (front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, or by email to: buses@redbridge.gov.uk within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice. Alternatively, you can respond to the consultation on https://engage.redbridge.gov.uk. Any objection may be communicated to, or be seen by, other persons who may have an interest in this matter.
