1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, made the above-titled Orders, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the made bike hanger Orders will be to permanently designate new bike hanger parking places that may be used at any time and without time limit by bicycles, by:
(a) introducing new bicycle parking places on lengths of the following roads: -
AVENUE ROAD the north-west side near Berrymead Gardens; BIRKBECK ROAD the north-west side near High Street; BROOKFIELD ROAD the north-east side opposite Nos. 1 & 3; HIGHLANDS AVENUE the north side near Cumberland Road; IVY CRESCENT the north-west side near Bollo Lane; KENILWORTH ROAD the north-east side, opposite The Park; PETERSFIELD ROAD the north-west side, near Acton Lane; SAVILLE ROAD the north-west side near Acton Lane; SOUTHFIELD ROAD the north side near Hawkshead Road;
(b) amending the parking restrictions and / or the parking provisions on lengths of the following roads mentioned [and contained within the following controlled parking zones - CPZ’s]: (A) Zone B - SAVILLE ROAD; (B) Zone C - KENILWORTH ROAD; (C) Zone DD - AVENUE ROAD; (D) Zone K - BIRKBECK ROAD; (E) Zone K - PETERSFIELD ROAD; (F) Zone K1 - HIGHLANDS AVENUE; (G) Zone R - BROOKFIELD ROAD; (I) Zone R - Southfield Road, to accommodate the bicycle parking places.
3. The made Orders, which will come into operation on 14 October 2025, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or for inspection at Staff Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
