Notice is given that National Highways Limited (a) proposes to make an Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A38 Trunk Road in Devon.

The effect of the Order would be to impose a 60 mph speed limit on the A38 between Marsh Mills Junction and Tamar Bridge Roundabout and on all connecting slip roads.

A copy of the Order, a plan, and a statement of National Highways reasons for making the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Central Library, 167-171 Armada Way, Plymouth, PL1 1HZ and Tamar Bridge Office, Pemros Road, St Budeaux, Plymouth, PL5 1LP. They may also be obtained from PABS, National Highways, Brunel House, 930 Hempton Court, Aztec West, Almondsbury, BS32 4SR or by e-mailing southwestttro@nationalhighways.co.uk, quoting reference NHSW 02/25.

Anyone wishing to object to the proposed Order should send, not later than 28 October 2025 or within 21 days from the date of first publication of this notice, if that period expires later, a written statement of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to National Highways at the address above, quoting reference NHSW 02/25.
