THE ISLINGTON (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
1) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Islington proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
2) The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) revoke the dedicated disabled bays and extend or introduce resident permit bays at the following locations: outside No. 10 Ambler Road (DB188); on Bredgar Road, outside the entrance to Forest Way (DB206); outside No. 25 Bredgar Road (DB019); outside No. 45 Brooksby Street (DB402); outside Nos. 8–9 Clerkenwell Close (DB214); outside No. 61 Dresden Road (DB297); outside No. 19 Harberton Road (DB449); on Hawes Street, outside Canonbury Court (DB283); outside No. 28 Monnery Road (DB225); outside No. 45 Nicholay Road (DB477); outside No. 20 Oransay Road (DB300); outside No. 7 St. John’s Grove (DB295); and on Watkinson Road, outside Winward House (DB302);
b) outside Nos. 105–107 Cornwallis Road, replace 7.7 metres of the existing ‘no waiting Mon–Fri 10am–2pm’ restriction with a ‘no waiting at any time’ restriction;
c) outside Nos. 12–14 Fairbridge Road, extend the dedicated disabled bay (DB298) by 1 metre;
d) outside Nos. 22–24 Tabley Road, relocate the dedicated disabled bay (DB444) to outside Nos. 26–28 Tabley Road and adjust the resident permit bay accordingly;
e) outside No. 153 Offord Road, relocate the dedicated disabled bay (DB463) to outside No. 151 Offord Road and adjust the resident permit bay accordingly;
f) on Macdonald Road, introduce a ‘no loading at any time’ restriction outside the entrance to Annesley Walk;
g) replace the existing ‘no waiting Mon–Fri 10am–2pm’ restrictions opposite Nos. 114 and 122 Hazellville Road with ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions;
h) outside Nos. 5–7 Penton Street, introduce a ‘no loading 7–10am, 2–4pm and 4.45–7pm’ restriction; and outside No. 7 Penton Street northwards to the pedestrian crossing, introduce a ‘no loading 7–10am and 2–7pm’ restriction;
i) outside No. 160 Hanley Road, introduce two new doctors’ bays and reduce the existing ‘no waiting’ restriction accordingly; and
j) make various other amendments to the map schedules so that they accurately reflect the on-street parking layout. These amendments will not result in changes on-street.
3) A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection. 4) Any person who wishes to object, or to make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing, specifying the grounds on which they are made to Islington Environment, P O Box 2025, PERSHORE, WR10 9BU (quoting reference 8503), within the period of twenty-one days from the date on which this Notice is published.
