CROWNDALE ROAD AREA - SAFE AND HEALTHY STREETS: ADDITIONAL MEASURES (OAKLEY SQUARE)

THE CAMDEN (PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 6) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 14 August 2025 has made the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be, in OAKLEY SQUARE (the north-west arm) - to remove 10 metres of a paid-for parking place on the south-east side, between points 26 and 36 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 51 and 53 Oakley Square, and replace it with a shared-use (permit holders and paid-for) parking place, in which ‘CA-F’ permit holders’ vehicles may be left without time limit between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Monday to Friday and between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, or vehicles using ‘pay by phone’ parking may be left for a maximum stay of 2 hours between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Monday to Friday and between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm on Saturday.

3. Copies of the made Order, which will come into force on 15 August 2025, and of other documents relating to the Order, may be obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or may be inspected in person by prior appointment at 5 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG, during normal office hours.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
