NOTICE OF FORFEITURE WITHOUT A COURT ORDER

PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT 2002, PART 5, CHAPTER 3, S303Z9

IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2017 NO. 1223

That on the 29/05/2025, a State Bank of India (UK) LTD account in the name Mr Laxmi Pasad BALAIAHGARI, was frozen under a POCA Account Freezing Order for 6 months. The balance of the account is £25,140.66.

I, Detective Inspector 5280 Robert Havelock, of Thames Valley Police, am a senior officer within the meaning of S303Z2(4) of Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) am satisfied that the money (+interest accrued) or part of it is :

a) recoverable property; or

b) is intended by any person for use in unlawful conduct

as per s303Z3(2) POCA.

Any person may object to the proposed forfeiture within 30 days, starting with the day after the notice is given. Accordingly, the period for objecting to this notice expires on 12/08/2025.

Any objections must be made in writing to Accredited Financial Investigator Kate MILLS C7689, Economic Crime Unit, Loddon Valley Police Station, Rushey Way, Lower Earley, Reading. RG6 4PS.

If no objection is received at the above address within the prescribed period stated herein the funds will be forfeited.
