NOTICE UNDER THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925; GALLAHER DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION SCHEME (‘THE SCHEME’)
Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the Trustee intends to wind up the Scheme. As is usual practice, the Trustee is placing an advertisement to allow any members of the Scheme who are not known to the Trustee to come forward before the winding-up takes place.
Any person who believes that they are entitled to pension rights from the Scheme, and who has not received correspondence from the Trustee, is required to send details in writing to the Trustee of the Scheme c/o Gallagher, 20 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7AF or Gallagher@ajg.com within 2 months of the publication of this notice.
After this time, the Trustee will proceed to wind up the Scheme having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has had notice and will not be liable to any person of whose claim it has not had notice.
Please note that if you have already received correspondence from the Trustee in relation to the Scheme you need not reply to this notice.
