DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES – SCHEDULE 246
THE CROYDON (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF STOPPING, LOADING AND WAITING) AND (FREE PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. F12) ORDER 20-
THE CROYDON (ON-STREET CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. F13) ORDER 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 33 Ashley Road, Thornton Heath, No. 36 Buller Road, Thornton Heath, No. 159 Cecil Road, Croydon, No. 30 Edward Road, Coulsdon, No. 29 Grangecliffe Gardens, South Norwood, No. 61 Grasmere Road, South Norwood, No. 5 Lenham Road, Thornton Heath, No. 121 Northwood Road, Thornton Heath, No. 50 Thornton Avenue, Croydon, No. 35 Westleigh Avenue, Coulsdon, and No. 85 Zion Road, Thornton Heath.
b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

| Grange Park Road, Thornton Heath | Outside No. 84 and partially across the frontage of No. 82 (replaces one space in a partial footway bay) |

| Green Lane, Thornton Heath | Opposite the junction with Florida Road (full footway parking bay) |

| Oval Road, Croydon | Adjacent to the flank wall of Oval House (opposite No. 87 Oval Road, replaces one permit/payment bay) |

| Tylecroft Road, Norbury | Outside No. 122 and partially across the frontages of Nos. 120 and 124 (relocation of the bay outside Nos. 118/120, which will be removed) |
| West Street, Croydon | Outside No. 36 and partially across the frontage of No.35 (replaces one space in a permit/payment bay) |
c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.
2. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design) at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. Alternatively, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.
3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/F12 & F13 by 10 July 2025.
