THE HILLINGDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders to:

1. Install 'at any time' waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.

2. Establish permit holder parking places in parts of Joel Street (between the junctions with Middleton Drive and Colchester Road), Norwich Road (between the junctions with Joel Street and Winchester Road), Northwood Hills with operational times of ‘Monday to Friday 1pm to 2pm’ in which a vehicle may be left during the permitted hours if it displays a valid Zone NWH permit.

3. Introduce waiting restrictions operational ‘Monday to Friday 1pm to 2pm' in parts of Joel Street (between the junctions with Middleton Drive and Norwich Road), Norwich Road (between the junctions with Joel Street and Winchester Road), Northwood Hills.

4. Establish permit holder parking places in parts of Glebe Road, Hayes with operational times of ‘9am to 10pm’ in which a vehicle may be left during the permitted hours if it displays a valid Zone HY10 permit.

5. Introduce waiting restrictions operational ‘9am to 10pm' in parts of Glebe Road, Hayes.

6. Extend the existing ‘Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm’ waiting restrictions outside No. 62a and 62b Cowley Mill Road, Uxbridge.

7. Remove a section of the Zone U6 permit holder parking place outside No. 34 Fray’s Waye, Uxbridge and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm’ waiting restrictions.

8. Remove a section of the Zone WR permit holder parking place outside No. 62 Ickenham Close, Ruislip and replace with ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions.

9. Remove a section of the Zone WD8 permit holder parking place outside No. 139 Drayton Gardens, West Drayton and replace with ‘Monday to Friday 11am to Midday’ waiting restrictions.

10. Install blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:

i) Outside No. 15 Lees Avenue, Northwood

ii) Outside No. 2 Wood Rise, Eastcote

iii) Outside No. 29 Kingston Avenue, Yiewsley

iv) Outside No. 12 Bedford Road, Ruislip

v) Outside No. 70 Guinness Close, Hayes

vi) Outside No. 91 Woodlands Avenue, Eastcote

11. Remove the redundant blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:

i) Outside No. 93 Hayes End Drive, Hayes

ii) Outside No. 70 Hale End Close, Ruislip

iii) Outside No. 60 Hale End Close, Ruislip

CURRENT VIRTUAL RESIDENT PERMIT CHARGES PER ANNUM

1st Permit – £84

2nd Permit - £120.80

3rd Permit - £162.80

4th Permit - £199.50

5th Permit and any subsequent permits - £236.30

CURRENT VIRTUAL VISITOR VOUCHERS COSTS

First 10 visitors per household per annum are free then £1.42 per visitor thereafter

All above charges could be subject to change

SCHEDULE - PROPOSED 'AT ANY TIME' WAITING RESTRICTIONS

STATION ROAD, HAYES (Service road fronting Nos. 225 to 303) – Double yellow lines opposite Nos. 237 to 261 Station Road.

WYEVALE CLOSE, NORTHWOOD HILLS – At the junction with Joel Street.

JOEL STREET, NORTHWOOD HILLS

i) At the junction with Wyevale Close.

ii) At the junction of the access road between Nos. 166 and 168 Joel Street.

iii) Opposite Nos. 168 to 186 Joel Street.

iv) Opposite Nos. 148 to 158 Joel Street.

NORWICH ROAD, NORTHWOOD HILL – Convert the existing single yellow line adjacent to Nos. 150 and 154 Joel Street to double yellow lines.

GLEBE ROAD, HAYES – Extend the existing double yellow lines near No. 38 Glebe Road.

ABBOTSBURY GARDENS, EASTCOTE – Convert sections of existing single yellow lines between the junction with Field End Road to outside No. 2 Abbotsbury Gardens.

CHURCH CLOSE, UXBRIDGE – At the junction with Cowley Mill Road.

COWLEY MILL ROAD, UXBRIDGE – At the junction with Church Close.

ANDOVER CLOSE, UXBRIDGE – Extend the existing double yellow lines behind Nos. 6 to 8 Church Close.

BOTWELL LANE, HAYES – Outside Nos. 185 to 193 Botwell Lane.

THE OAKS, RUISLIP – Convert the existing single yellow line between Jubilee House and Bell View Manor to double yellow lines.

IRON BRIDGE ROAD SOUTH, YIEWSLEY

i) Southwest side, from the northwestern extremity of the public highway southeastwards for a distance of 116.6 metres.

ii) Southwest side, from a point 216.6 metres southwest of the northwestern extremity of the public highway southeastwards for a distance of 50 metres.

GROSVENOR CRESCENT, HILLINGDON – At the junction with Sutton Court Road near the entrance to the park.

HALE END CLOSE, RUISLIP - On the northwest side of the junction with Hume Way.

HUME WAY, RUISLIP

i) Extend the existing double yellow lines on the northwest side of the junction with Hale End Close.

ii) Extend the existing double yellow lines adjacent to No. 182 Hume Way southeastwards by 13.2 metres.
