PROPOSED RED ROUTE RESTRICTIONS – WOOD LANE, ISLEWORTH
A. THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (RED ROUTES) (AMENDMENT NO.**) ORDER 20**
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to update the descriptions of the Red Route on Wood Lane to match what is currently on-street, by:
(a) revoking all existing red route restrictions on both sides of Wood Lane;
(b) introducing “no stopping at any time” restrictions (double red lines) on the north-east side of Wood Lane, between its junction with Jersey Road, Isleworth and a point 1.4 meters south-east of the boundary of Nos. 122 and 124 Wood Lane;
(c) introducing “no stopping at any time” restrictions (double red lines) on the south-west side of Wood Lane, between its junction with Jersey Road, Isleworth and the boundary of Nos.166 and 168 Wood Lane;
(d) introducing “no stopping at any time” restrictions (double red lines) on the south-west side of Wood Lane, from the boundary of Nos.122 and 124 Wood Lane for a distance of 7.3 metres in a south-easterly direction;
(e) introducing “no stopping Monday to Friday 8.15 to 9.15am and 2.45 to 3.45pm” restrictions (single red lines) on the south-west side of Wood Lane, from a point 2.7 metres south of the boundary of Nos. 134 & 136 Wood Lane, to a point 5.0 metres south-west of the boundary of Nos. 164 & 166 Wood Lane.
3. Documents giving further information of the proposed Orders can be viewed for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice online at hounslow.gov.uk by typing in the term “traffic notices” in the search bar and at Hounslow Library, Hounslow House First Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB or at The Reception of Hounslow House, Ground Floor, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 8pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 5.30pm or on Sundays between 11.30am and 4.00pm.
4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing stating the grounds of their objection to the Acting Assistant Director for Traffic, Transport and Parking, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, Middlesex TW3 3EB or via email to trafficorders@hounslow.gov.uk quoting the reference TMO/P013/25, to be received no later than 13 June 2025.
