ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES ROAD
TRAFFIC REGULAION ACT 1984
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 28 April 2025 made the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 21) Order 2025 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 insofar as applicable and all other powers thereunto enabling as of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended –
2. The general effect of the Order would be to Introduce/amend waiting restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in:-
(i) Barnfield Gardens, Kingston adjacent Nos 25 and 27
(ii) Guildford Avenue, Surbiton outside Nos 4 to 6
(iii) Onslow Road, New Malden at its junction with Egmont Road
(iv) South Lane, New Malden outside Nos 227 to 235
(v) Tolworth Close, Surbiton opposite Chancery House
(vi) Warwick Grove, Surbiton opposite No. 19
(vii) Windsor Avenue, New Malden at its junction with Bazalgette Gardens
Please note: the items listed below advertised on 3 October 2024 are subject to further consideration.
(i) Canbury Park Road adjacent No. 124
(ii) Queen Elizabeth Road, Kingston at its junction with Canbury Park Road
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into effect on 6 May 2025, the Council’s Statement of Reason for making the Order and map schedules may be inspected as follows:-
(a) online at https://www.kingston.gov.uk/unmade-traffic-management-orders under reference MapKing0096 Parking Batch 2
(b) Council libraries; and
(c) a copy of the made Order can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday); or
(d) by emailing tmo@kingston.gov.uk (please quote ref MapKing0096 Parking Batch 2.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court
