1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hackney proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended;
2. The general effect of the Orders will be as follows;
Lordship Park
(a) Remove the existing permit holders only parking spaces starting from a point 4m west of common boundary of property Nos. 12-14 Lordship Park for a distance of 22m westwards and replace them with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.
(b) Remove existing permit holders only parking spaces starting from a point 4m west of common boundary of property Nos. 37- 39 Lordship Park for a distance of 10m eastwards and replace them with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.
(c) Remove existing permit holders only parking spaces starting from a point 3.6m east of the common boundary of property Nos.38-40 Lordship Park for a distance of 10m westwards and replace them with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 21st of April 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
