1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing on 21 April 2025, made the above titled Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: -
(a) provide for the installation of cycle hangars on lengths of: Broughton Road; Green Drive; Half Acre Road; Loveday Road; Northwood Gardens; West Lodge Avenue; Wordsworth Avenue, (cycle hangars are secure shelters for bicycles that are 2.6 metres in length and 2 metres wide.)
(b) make minor adjustments to existing parking places at the locations referred to above to accommodate the cycle hangars; and
(c) revise the existing parking facilities in West Lodge Avenue, south of Uxbridge Road, to replace the disabled bay and stop and shop bays with "shared use" parking (7 spaces).
3. The Orders, which will come into operation on 28 April 2025, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
