ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 14 April 2025 made the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 19) Order 2025 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 insofar as applicable and all other powers thereunto enabling as of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended –

2. The general effect of the Order will: -

(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in: -

(i) Renfrew Road, Kingston adjacent White Rose Cottage; and

(ii) Warren Road, Kingston across the entrance to Coombe Neville,

(b) introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) operating Monday to Friday between 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm and 4.30pm

(i) Stoke Road, Kingston outside Penshurst and Coombe Walls;

(ii) Warren Road, Kingston on its south western side between its junctions with Ballard Close and George Road; and at its junction with Ballard Close, Kingston

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into effect on 22 April 2025, the Council’s Statement of Reason for making the Order and map schedules may be inspected as follows: -

(a) online at https://www.kingston.gov.uk/unmade-traffic-management-orders under reference MapKing0101 Coombe Estate

(b) Council libraries; and

(c) A copy of the made Order can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday); or

(d) by emailing tmo@kingston.gov.uk (please quote ref MapKing0101.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
