THE BEXLEY (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 9) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

THE BEXLEY (BEXLEY STATION)(PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 12) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 3 March 2025 made the above titled Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effects of the Bexley (Disabled Persons Parking Places) Traffic Order 2025 amendment order would be to: -

a) designate new disabled parking places in which disabled person’s vehicles, displaying a disabled person’s blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of: - 76 Albert Road Bexley, 8 Bedford Road Sidcup, 8 Glendale Road Belvedere, 35 Hazel Drive Erith, 144 Hurstwood Avenue Erith, 142 Old Road Crayford, 11 Poplar Mount Belvedere, 9a Welling Way Welling and 35 Westerham Drive Blackfen

b) revoke the existing disabled parking places in the vicinity of: - 3 Bethel Road Welling, 71 Crombie Road Sidcup, 116 Norman Road Belvedere and 20 Sandgate Road Welling.

3. The general effects of The Bexley (Bexley Station)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 2024 amendment order would be to: -

b) convert a section of the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ in Albert Road Bexley to a Disabled Persons Parking Bay operating ‘at all times’

4. Copies of the Orders which becomes operational on 10 March 2025, the corresponding Parent Orders (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

6. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
