The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South West) (No.3) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of the whole of the network of highways, including the whole of Bargates car park and Site Pit car park and two northern part widths of Barrack Road, bounded by Barrack Road, Fountain Roundabout, Bargates, the rear of no’s 32 to 58 Bargates, the shrub land to the rear of no’s 9 to 19 Twynham Avenue and the eastern boundary of no. 43 Barrack Road at Christchurch, in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This is to enable development as permitted by BCP Council under reference 8/18/3263/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/3625). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth, BH2 6DY.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 27 February 2025.
