TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of a Variation Order made under section 247 and 333(7) of the above of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.6) Order 2024 Variation Order (No.3) 2025" authorising the variation of “The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.6) Order 2024”. The Order to be varied authorised the stopping up of three irregular shaped areas of highway to the north of High Street at Yardley Gobion in West Northamptonshire. The Variation Order increases one area to be stopped up. This is to enable development as permitted by West Northamptonshire Council, under references WNS/2022/2287/FUL, WNS/2022/2288/LBC and 2024/2746/S73.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5900). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at West Northamptonshire Council, The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester, NN12 6AD.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 20 February 2025.
