The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East) (No.2) Order 2025 " authorising the stopping up of an area of highway verge to the west of The Dale at Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest. This is to enable development as permitted by Epping Forest District Council under reference EPF/1303/24.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/E/S247/5074). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Waltham Abbey Library, 37 Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1EL.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 6 February 2025.
