The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.7) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of a rectangular shaped area of highway to the east of St Edmunds Road at Haywards Heath in the District of Mid Sussex. This is to enable development as permitted by Mid Sussex District Council under reference DM/23/0809.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/5469). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Mid Sussex District Council, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1SS.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 6 February 2025.
