Notice of Cancellation of Registration pursuant to section 91 of the Act

Notice is hereby given that the Financial Conduct Authority has, pursuant to the Friendly Societies Act 1974, cancelled the registration of the following societies on the dates as shown below:

08 January 2025

The D.L.B. Friendly Society (Register no. 979 F) the registered office of which is at Fountain Precinct, Balm Green, SHEFFIELD, S1 1RZ. The grounds of the cancellation are that the society has wilfully violated section 43 of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 by not submitting to the Authority any annual returns acceptable for filing since that submitted for the society’s financial year ending 2001 – 2023.

Ollerton Clinic Friendly Society (Register no. 962 F) the registered office of which is at 33 Forest Road, New Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. The grounds of the cancellation are that the society has wilfully violated section 43 of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 by not submitting to the Authority any annual returns acceptable for filing since that submitted for the society’s financial year ending 2001 – 2023.

Hill Osborne Friendly Society (Register no. 980 F) the registered office of which is at Wigford House, Brayford Wharf East, LINCOLN, LN5 7AY. The grounds of the cancellation are that the society has wilfully violated section 43 of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 by not submitting to the Authority any annual returns acceptable for filing since that submitted for the society’s financial year ending 2013 – 2023.
