The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.01) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of the whole of an unnamed footpath as lies off Kevern Close at Wigston, in the Borough of Oadby and Wigston. This is to enable development as permitted by Oadby and Wigston Borough Council under reference 24/00415/COU.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5756). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, Brocks Hill Council Offices, Washbrook Lane, Oadby, Leicester, LE2 5JJ.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 31 January 2025.
