Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To introduce Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; Adjacent to No.1 Methuen Park on Donovan Avenue N10, No.28 Elms Avenue N10, No.31 Woodside Gardens N17, No.30 & No.37 Fryatt Road N17, No.55 Sydney Road N8, No.76, No.80 & No.90 Steeds Road N10, No.106/108 Rosebery Avenue N17, No.120 Wightman Road N4 adjacent double yellow line to be extended by 2 metres), outside steps to flats 7 to 22 on Corbett Grove N22, No.88 Greyhound Road N17, adjacent to No.24 Stirling Road on Leith Road N22 (adjacent double yellow lines to be extended by 3.4 metres), No.47 Lordsmead Road N17 (adjacent double yellow lines to be extended by 1.5 metres).
(ii) To convert existing Dedicated Disabled parking bays to Disabled Bays, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey: No.19 Lauradale Road N2, No.32 Kevelioc Road N17, Adjacent to No.26 High Street on St Mary’s Road N8 (adjacent Double yellow lines/kerb marks at either side of bay to be extended by approximately 4.4 metres), opposite the flank wall of No.97 Fortis Green on Eastern Road N2.
(iii) To relocate existing disabled bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties; from No.8 to No.16 Donovan Avenue N10, from No.9 to No.21 Grovelands Road N15 (double yellow line outside No.19 to be extended north by 2.5 metres), from No.10 to adjacent to the flank wall of no.159 Nightingale Lane on North View Road N8, from outside No.12b Elm Park Avenue to adjacent to No.13 Elm Park Avenue on Clifton Gardens N15 (adjacent double yellow line to be extended by 3 metres), from No.13 Bedford Road to adjacent to the flank wall of No.36 Crouch Hall Road on Bedford Road N8 (adjacent double yellow line to be extended by 3 metres), from No.13 to No.10 on Farningham Road N17, from No.31 to No.23 Handsworth Road N17, from No.39 to No.67 on Collingwood Avenue N10, from No.40 to No.6 on Steeds Road N10, from No.50 to No.70 on Allison Road N8, from No.61 to No.65 on Woodside Gardens N17, from No.68 to No.62 on Claremont Road N6, from No.69 to No.51 on Broadwater Road N17, from No.73 to No.63 on Lyndhurst Road N22, from No.83 to No.29 (5 metre bay) on Etherley Road N15, from No.91 to No.97/99 on Woodside Gardens N17, from outside No.126 Wightman Road to adjacent to the flank wall of No.138 Wightman Road on Warham Road N4, from No.174/176 to No.75/77 Albert Road N4, from No.289 to No.283/285 on Alexandra Road N22, from outside the east wall of Millicent Fawcett Court to opposite No.71 on Pembury Road N17, from No.158/160 to No.189/191 on Farrant Avenue N22, from No.121 to No.137 Higham Road N17, from No.48 to No.28 on Kitchener Road N17, from No.17 Kitchener Road to adjacent to the flank wall of No.208 Philip Lane on Kitchener Road N17, from No.62 to No.92 Palmerston Road N22, from No.63 to No.5 on Poynton Road N17 (double yellow line outside No.3 to be extended east by 2 metres), from No.134 to No.126 Rosebery Avenue N17, from No.54 Rusper Road to adjacent to No.16 Rusper Road on Sandringham Road N22 (adjacent double yellow lines to be extended by 2 metres), No.145 to No.149 on Sirdar Road N22, from No.125 to No.53 on Sydney Road N8, from No.42 to No.51 Hillside Road N15.
(iv) To remove existing Disabled Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.3 Tenterden Road N17, No.4 Myddleton Road N22, No.9 Cavell Road N17, No.17 Dongola Road N17, No.18 Hanbury Road N17, No.22 Kevelioc Road N17, No.37 Northcott Avenue N22, opposite No.55 Pages Hill N10, No.58 Tetherdown N10, No.59 Pelham Road N22, No.65 Warham Road N4, No.72 Hornsey Park Road N8, No.45 Burgoyne Road N4, No.59 (Fitzroy Court) Shepherds Hill N6.
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(v) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) of this notice and reinstate the relevant Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(iii) and (iv) of this notice.
A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey during the consultation period. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
