THE HACKNEY (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.263) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 17th January 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Hackney made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the orders will be as follows;

a. Broadway Market Estate - Replace the permit bay outside No. 77 Grand Union Crescent, Broadway Market Estate with double yellow lines, no waiting “at any time” restrictions.

b. Datchler Estate - Replace the disabled bay outside Nos. 8 to 9 Feldman Close, Datchler Estate with a personalised permit bay - 00305.

c. Forburg Road - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay at the side of Nos. 54 to 56 with a personalised permit bay - 00313.

d. Homerton Road - Replace the existing single yellow line waiting restrictions with double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the whole length of Homerton Road.

e. How’s Street - Replace 6.6 metres of permit bay outside of Nos. 1 to 18 Silk House, How’s Street with a personalised permit bay - 00310.

f. Hoxton Market - Replace the echelon shared use bay opposite No. 12 Hoxton Market with a personalised permit bay - 00314.

g. Kenmure Road - Replace approx 6.2 metres double yellow line, no waiting “at any time” restrictions with a shared use parking bay outside Nos. 21 to 23.

h. Newick Road - Replace 6.6.metres of permit bay outside Nos. 54 to 56 with a personalised permit bay - 00311.

i. Pownall Road - Replace a permit bay outside Nos 1 to 60 Orwell Court, Pownall Road with a personalised permit bay - 00307.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 3rd day of February 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made by email request to streetscene.consultations@hackney.gov.uk. Alternatively such documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in the visitor’s reception area, London Borough of Hackney, Hackney Service Centre, 1 Hillman Street, London, E8 1DY by appointment only.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, may appeal to the High Court.
