The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire & Humber) (No.03) Order 2025" authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway which lies to the rear of No’s 8-20 Co-operative Street, the whole of the unnamed highway connecting Co-operative Street and Victoria Street and a length of unnamed highway that lies to the rear of Co-operative Street and Victoria Street at Rotherham, in the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley. This is to enable development as permitted by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, under reference 2024/0611.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/5901). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Goldthorpe Library, Barnsley Road, S63 9NE.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 23 January 2025.
