HIGHWAYS STOPPING UP ORDER
THE STOPPING UP OF LAND AT CANTERBURY CLOSE BECKENHAM
THE MAYOR AND BURGESSES of the London Borough of Bromley hereby give Notice that they have made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the Act”) to authorise the stopping-up of Canterbury Close Beckenham BR3 5EP as described in the Schedule.
THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development of Land at Canterbury Close for the erection of a 3 story building, with basement, comprising 5 flats with associated parking spaces and amenity space to be carried out in accordance with the Planning Permission granted to the London Borough of Bromley under Part III of the Act in connection with the implementation of the refused planning application ref: DC/21/00292/FULL1, granted on appeal ref: APP/G5180/W/21/3286413 dated 5th July 2022.
A copy of the Order may be inspected by any persons free of charge at all reasonable hours making an email request to: highway.planning@bromley.gov.uk
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 22nd January 2025 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contain therein.

The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Bromley and can be described as an area of highway at Canterbury Close Beckenham BR3 5EP. The area measures at 40.3 metres in length and its widest point at 18.0 metres.
