The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.56) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway which lies to the north of South Boundary Road at Kirkby, in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley. This is to enable development as permitted by Knowsley Council under reference 23/01197/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5654). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Kirkby Library, 1st Floor, The Kirkby Centre, Norwich Way, Kirkby, Liverpool, L32 8XY

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 9 January 2025.
