‘OFF-STREET’ WAITING RESTRICTIONS
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (OFF-STREET WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VANGUARD COURT) ORDER 2025
1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that on 9 January 2025 it has made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on both sides of the ‘off-street’ UNNAMED ACCESS ROAD - located between No. 34 and Nos. 36 to 38 Peckham Road - extending between its junctions with Peckham Road and Vanguard Court (a total of 81 metres), to deter unsociable parking.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 13 January 2025, and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection at Highways, Southwark Council, Environment, Sustainability & Leisure, 3rd floor hub 2, 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2QH, by appointment only. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
