The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.25) Order 2024 authorising the stopping up a western part width of Chalk Lane comprising its access mouth to Chalk Lane Car Park at Northampton in District of West Northamptonshire. This is to enable development as permitted by West Northamptonshire Council, under reference 2024/0367/FULL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/EM/S247/5852). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at West Northamptonshire Council, One Angel Square, Angel Street, Northampton NN1 1ED

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 January 2025.
